Tiered Commission
Learn how to award tier based commission to your affiliates
With tiered commissions, you can motivate affiliates by increasing their commission rates based on their performance. This method rewards affiliates for driving more sales or referrals, encouraging higher engagement.
Commission Types
Afflr offers two types of commission structures:
Percentage-Based Commission: Affiliates receive a certain percentage of sales as commission.
Fixed Amount Commission: Affiliates earn a predetermined fixed amount per sale, regardless of sales volume.
Based on affiliate performance, you can increase either the commission percentage or fixed amount.
Tier Structure Options
There are three ways to build a tiered commission structure:
Total Referral Sale Amount: Select this option if you want to award higher commissions as the total sales driven by the affiliate exceed a certain amount.
Total Referral Sale Count: Use this option when a better commission rate is granted after an affiliate reaches a specific number of sales.
Total Number of Referrals: Choose this option to reward a higher commission as the number of referrals by the affiliate increases.
Afflr also allows setting multiple tiers to further incentivize affiliates.
Example: Setting Up a Two-Tiered Commission Structure
We will be awarding a 5% higher commission for every 10 referrals the affiliate brings.
Choose Percentage as the commission type and Total Number of Referrals as the tier type.
Set the initial commission percentage to 5%.
Click Add Tier.

Set the total referrals to 10 in the first tier with a 10% commission.
Set the total referrals to 20 in the next tier with a 20% commission.
