# Tremendous

Tremendous is a payout-as-a-service platform that lets you send cash payouts and 700+ gift card reward types to affiliates across 30+ countries including the USA. It is **free for merchants** and handles **W-9 form collection automatically,** making it one of the most hassle-free payout options available.

### Prerequisites

Before connecting Tremendous to Yuko, make sure you have:

* A **Tremendous account** — sign up free at [app.tremendous.com](https://app.tremendous.com/auth/signup)
* Funds added to your Tremendous account
* A campaign created in Tremendous

### Step 1 — Sign Up with Tremendous

Create a free account at [app.tremendous.com/auth/signup](https://app.tremendous.com/auth/signup). No fees are charged to merchants.

### Step 2 — Add Funds to Your Tremendous Account

1. Log in to your Tremendous account
2. Go to **Billing → Add Funds**
3. Add money via bank account or credit card

> ⚠️ Funds must be available in your Tremendous account before you can send any rewards or payouts to affiliates.

### Step 3 — Create a Tremendous Campaign

Campaigns define what reward types your affiliates can choose from, such as gift cards, charity donations, or virtual Visa cards.

1. Go to **Campaign Templates → Create Campaign**
2. Choose your preferred reward types
3. **Customize the reward email,** add your logo, adjust colors, edit content, or include a video
4. Preview the campaign
5. Set a campaign name and configure sharing preferences
6. Click **Save**

### Step 4 — Generate a Tremendous API Key

1. In your Tremendous account, go to **Team Settings → Developers**
2. Request production API access if not already enabled
3. Generate an API key and copy it

### Step 5 — Connect Tremendous in Yuko

1. In your Yuko dashboard, go to **Payouts → Payment Methods**
2. Find **Tremendous** and enable it
3. Paste your **API key**
4. Click **Save**

Yuko will verify the key and activate Tremendous as a payout method.

### Paying Affiliates via Tremendous

1. In your Yuko dashboard, go to **Payouts → Balance**
2. Select the affiliate you want to pay
3. Choose **Tremendous** as the payment method
4. Confirm the payment

The affiliate will receive an email from Tremendous with their reward redemption link.

### Low Balance Alerts

To avoid failed payouts, set up a low balance alert:

1. In your Tremendous account, go to **Billing → Low Balance Alerts**
2. Enable alerts and set a threshold amount
3. You'll receive an email notification when your balance drops below the limit

### W-9 Form Collection

> ✅ **Note:** Tremendous automatically collects W-9 forms from affiliates before they redeem their rewards. You don't need to manage tax compliance manually — Tremendous handles it entirely.
