Learn how Tremendous can be integrated with Yuko and used to pay affiliates using gift cards.
Tremendous is a payout-as-a-service platform that lets you send cash payouts and 700+ gift card reward types to affiliates across 30+ countries including the USA. It is free for merchants and handles W-9 form collection automatically, making it one of the most hassle-free payout options available.
Before connecting Tremendous to Yuko, make sure you have:
A Tremendous account — sign up free at app.tremendous.com
Funds added to your Tremendous account
A campaign created in Tremendous
Create a free account at app.tremendous.com/auth/signup. No fees are charged to merchants.
Log in to your Tremendous account
Go to Billing → Add Funds
Add money via bank account or credit card
⚠️ Funds must be available in your Tremendous account before you can send any rewards or payouts to affiliates.
Campaigns define what reward types your affiliates can choose from, such as gift cards, charity donations, or virtual Visa cards.
Go to Campaign Templates → Create Campaign
Choose your preferred reward types
Customize the reward email, add your logo, adjust colors, edit content, or include a video
Preview the campaign
Set a campaign name and configure sharing preferences
Click Save
In your Tremendous account, go to Team Settings → Developers
Request production API access if not already enabled
Generate an API key and copy it
In your Yuko dashboard, go to Payouts → Payment Methods
Find Tremendous and enable it
Paste your API key
Click Save
Yuko will verify the key and activate Tremendous as a payout method.
In your Yuko dashboard, go to Payouts → Balance
Select the affiliate you want to pay
Choose Tremendous as the payment method
Confirm the payment
The affiliate will receive an email from Tremendous with their reward redemption link.
To avoid failed payouts, set up a low balance alert:
In your Tremendous account, go to Billing → Low Balance Alerts
Enable alerts and set a threshold amount
You'll receive an email notification when your balance drops below the limit
✅ Note: Tremendous automatically collects W-9 forms from affiliates before they redeem their rewards. You don't need to manage tax compliance manually — Tremendous handles it entirely.
