# Affiliates
## **Adding and Managing Affiliates in Afflr**
Recruiting affiliates is a critical step in building a successful affiliate program and plays a key role in expanding your marketing reach.
Afflr provides multiple ways to add and manage affiliates efficiently.
You can add affiliates in **three different ways**:
### **1. Adding Affiliates via the Admin Dashboard**
Admins can manually add affiliates directly from the Afflr dashboard without requiring sign-up. This is ideal for quick onboarding.
#### Steps to Add an Affiliate Manually
1. Navigate to **Afflr Dashboard → Affiliates**.
2. Click **Add Affiliate**.
3. Enter the required affiliate details and click **Next**.
4. Tick the **Captcha** checkbox.
5. Click **Create**.

Assigning an affiliate program is mandatory when adding an affiliate manually. Affiliates cannot be created without a program.

### **2. Adding Affiliates via Forms**
#### A. Affiliate Signup Form
You can create a signup form and embed it on your Shopify store or share it as a direct link. You can create a signup form using predefined templates and customize fields, content, colors, and confirmation messages before publishing.
#### B. Affiliate Portal Signup
Affiliates can sign up through the Affiliate Portal using their email address.
Once the admin approves the affiliate, they can:
* Access their dashboard
* Share affiliate links and referral codes
#### C. Thank You Page Signup
You can turn customers into affiliates using a **Thank You Page** shown after purchase.
Customers can join your affiliate or referral program directly from the order confirmation page by entering their email.
Your Thank You Form will now appear on the order confirmation page, allowing customers to join your referral program by entering their email.
### **Importing an Affiliate List**
If you already have an existing list of affiliates, you can import them in bulk using a CSV file.
Existing affiliates can be imported using a CSV file, making it easy to migrate large affiliate lists. Go to **Affiliates → Import**, upload a CSV file, assign a program, and click **Upload CSV** to complete the process.

Referral codes are auto-generated; if missing, invalid rows are skipped, and files must be under 1 MB with up to 1,000 records.

### **Approving Affiliates in Afflr**
Admins can manually review and approve affiliates before they become active. This ensures only qualified affiliates join your program.
Open a pending affiliate in the Affiliates section, and save to change the status from Pending to Approved.
### **Changing an Affiliate Program**
Affiliates can be moved to a different program even if their current program is active. Each affiliate can belong to only one program at a time.
Select the affiliate, choose **Change Program**, pick an active program, and confirm the assignment.
### **Exporting the Affiliate List**
You can export all affiliate details as a CSV file for reporting or record-keeping with a single click. Go to **Affiliates → Export**, and the affiliate list will be downloaded instantly as a CSV file.
